An example is that the Federal bureaucracies will gain control over all the watersheds in the United States. That includes dry land inside or adjacent to watersheds. That means everything. Because all land is in a watershed.

This legislation was written by Gore, Babbitt and environmental groups. I have spoken with Congressman John Mica’s office and he is the highest ranking member of a committee that will consider this bill. He said this is a bad, bad bill and he is going to try and see it defeated. I have ask for a resolution to be drafted voicing our (County Commissioners) dis-approval of this bill and we will consider it this Tuesday. My friends, this is not just a bill that would affect Rodman, it is a bill that will affect all waters in the United States.
